Royal Curry Restaurant in Lafayette Appears to Have Permanently Closed

It appears that a once-popular Indian cuisine restaurant is now closed for good.

Someone posted on the local Facebook group "Closed In Acadiana" a sign from Royal Curry's front door that read, "We are closed. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Royal Curry is located at 4510 Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette in the same shopping center as Dollar Tree, Hawaii Grill and The Cajun Table.

While we don't have anything official from the owners, again, the closure appears to be permanent, as there is a lockbox on the door and a real estate sign out in front of the business.

While Indian cuisine may not be for a broad spectrum of restaurant-goers' liking in Acadiana, the place did have solid reviews online. On its Facebook page, Royal Curry Lafayette posted an impressive 4.8 out of 5.0 rating -- that from a whopping 245 reviews.
