St. Patrick’s Blood Drive This Saturday

Vitalant is holding a St. Patrick's Blood Drive this Saturday at their offices on Bertrand  Drive.

The blood drive will begin at 7 am and donors receive a "Save the Humans" water bottle, a $25 Amazon Gift Card, and special St. Patrick's Day treats!

Aside from the premiums you receive for giving, the premiums received by those who desperately need your blood can not be measured in dollars or material items: they receive the gift of life.

Cancer patients, crash and accident victims, patients in need of transfusions, your neighbor, your co-worker, your own family members - illness and injury are not prejudiced. ANYONE, at any time, may need your blood, but they won't get it unless you donate.

Blood donation takes about an hour from check-in to refreshments. Donors can save about 20 minutes by completing their Fast Track Health History the day they donate by going to Vitalant's website.

Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 and 17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
