Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Tweet About Dallas Cowboys Kicker Goes Viral
He went there.
If you watch the Dallas Cowboys, you know that their kicker has struggled in recent weeks.
Bret Maher missed four extra-point kicks last week against Tampa Bay, and this week he had one kick blocked against San Fransico.
Obviously, Dallas Cowboys fans have been upset and very critical of Maher since then, and you can add Texas Governor to the list of those critical of the Cowboys kicker.
Gov Abbott Tweeted that he could kick better than the Cowboy's kicker after his kick was blocked Sunday in the Divisional Round Playoff Game.
If you aren't aware of Abbott's condition, he is paralyzed and bound to a wheelchair.
Some on social media thought that the Tweet was clever and entertaining, while others thought that it was a bit insensitive.
I won't be the judge here, so check out his Tweet here and let us know what you think of it.
The San Fransico 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 19-12 to end Dallas' 2022 season.
As you may expect, there are mixed feelings about the Tweet you see above.
