U.S. Capitol Lockdown Prompted By Nearby Fire

As officials are rehearsing the inauguration ceremony for President-elect Joe Biden, there is word that the Capitol is on lockdown due to some sort of threat that is outside of the capitol.

Here is what officials are saying,

The threat according to Zak Hudak, via Twitter, is that there was an announcement about a threat over the intercom.

Another gentleman says it appears that someone's belongings under the 695 bridge are on fire.
