For quite sometime, we have heard that Americans are lazy, and aren't hard workers. Well, we may now have proof that we, Americans, are not as productive while on the job as we should be. According to the 2010 American Time Use Survey, says that Americans are working less and relaxing more.

The survey, released by the Labor Department on Wednesday, found that the average American over the age of 15 only spent around 3 hours and 58 minutes working on weekdays in 2010. So what are we doing with so much time off" While we may be surfing the net or updating our social media sites, according to the survey of 13,200 people, Americans caught an average of 8 hours and 23 minutes of sleep on weeknights, and managed to squeeze in an impressive 9 hours and 20 minutes on weekends.

The survey also found that Americans spend nearly 2-Hours and 30 Minutes in front of  their television, and a shockingly low amount of time in front of the computer at 1-Hour and 40 Minutes. Personally speaking, this American is front of his computer much longer than the survey states.
