Cam Newton Reportedly Injured In Car Accident
Several media outlets are reporting that Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newtown was injured in a serious automobile accident on Tuesday.
WBTV reports that Newton's car flipped over on Church Street bridge on Highway 277. In one photo it shows a person, which we believe to be Cam Newton, on a stretcher while being loaded up into an ambulance.
Officials have not yet released any information on the severity of injuries in this accident.

UPDATE: An NFL Insider,
Ian Rapoport, says that it is believed that Newtown escaped this accident with just a few minor injuries. He reports that the quarterback did not suffer any serious injuries after his vehicle flipped two or three time.
The Charlotte Observer tweeted this photo of Newton after he was pulled from his vehicle.
