The website CareerCast just released their list of 200 of the most popular jobs in the U.S., ranked from best to worst. See where your job ranks amongst the best and worst to have in the year 2013.

When the website put the list together, from best to worst, they took a few things into consideration. The jobs are ranked in five categories: Physical demands, work environment, income, stress, and hiring outlook.

According to CareerCast, the best job to have is ACTUARY. If you aren't familiar with this profession, an Actuary calculates financial risk for insurance companies or other big businesses. Being that they have so much responsibility on their hands, pay is well and if you're good at this you will always have a job in this field.

As for the rest of the top-10 Best Jobs out there, here's the breakdown: biomedical engineer, software engineer, audiologist, financial planner, dental hygienist, occupational therapist, optometrist, physical therapist, and computer systems analyst.

On the other hand, the worst job out there, according to CareerCast, is a Newspaper Reporter. Pay is minimal and the job outlook for those in this medium doesn't appear to be too promising. In recent years, we have seen a number of major newspapers layoff half their staff, while others have completely shut down the operation.

Other jobs to make the top-10 worst-off list are as follows: lumberjack, enlisted military personnel, actor, oilrig worker, dairy farmer, meter reader, mail carrier, roofer, and flight attendant.
