Last night during the Baltimore riots, CNN found a United States Veteran standing in front of a police line demanding kids go home.

The man, who was standing tall in front of the police, identified himself as Robert Valentine. He said that he has served his country and that he loves his city and was not going to let rioters, who were mostly teenagers, overrun Baltimore.

During the interview, Mr. Valentine could be heard telling the young people who were rioting to go home and study.

This man is a hero, in more than just one way. To stand-up for his city without any protective gear is hot only brave, but also honorable. Mr. Valentine showed our country that there are some REALLY GOOD people in Baltimore and that these rioters will not overshadow them.

We need more Robert Valentine's in this country. Much respect.
