Just as the seasons begin to change, and we get that first cool breeze in October, it must mean that Halloween is just around the corner. And with that comes the opening of Lafayette's BIGGEST haunted house. The "Museum Of Fear" has been revamped and expanded this year, and the Museum is ready for businessThe Museum Of Fear is located on the third of the floor of the Lafayette Science Museum in Downtown Lafayette, and is the home of ghosts, clowns, and various themed rooms. While the path through the haunted house at times can be cold and narrow, it is an experience you will never forget...And it is NOTHING like you have ever seen before in Lafayette.

The sounds of pain and misery are loud and intense, the air is cold, and the lighting is scarce throughout this journey. As you make your way from room to room, you should expect the unexpected, and prepare yourself for the ultimate fright.

The "Museum Of Fear" is open again this Saturday, and then open every Friday and Saturday for the rest of October. The doors will open each night at 7pm, and close at 11pm. Tickets are $8 at the door, or you could use a McDonald's coupon and get in for $6 (which you can get in your order at any participating McDonalds).

For the kids, there will be story telling going on at the Children's Museum next door, and that starts on the second Saturday of October.

So come out and get into the "spirit" and visit the newly remodeled "Museum Of Fear" in Downtown Lafayette. Plus, keep your radio locked to HOT 107-9 all next week for your chance to score free tickets to the Museum.
