Drake has set a lot of records throughout his career, and he most recently became the longest-charting artist on the Billboard Hot 100, though his 431 consecutive weeks of being on the chart just came to an end. It turns out, though, the More Life rapper wants to get back on the charts and stay there for 500 straight weeks.

In a new video, TMZ runs into Drizzy outside of Tao restaurant in Los Angeles, where they mentioned the news of him being absent from the charts for the first time since 2009. Keeping optimism about the news, the Toronto native utters three words that tell fans all they need to know about how hard the hitmaker plans to go with his music moving forward.

"I need 500," Drake tells the cameras.

While he doesn't answer any more of the questions from the paparazzi as he climbs into his car, it's certainly implied that we can expect some more new music soon enough.

This year, the hip-hop superstar released his More Life playlist, and most recently his "Signs" single, which was premiered at Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show back in June. The song became part of an OVO Sound-curated playlist that was put together for the line's Spring/Summer 2018 menswear unveiling. At this year's OVO Fest in Toronto, he also announced he's working on a new album.
