WIth the 1st case of Ebola being diagnosed in the U.S, everyone is freaking out, and you should be. But, you should also be aware of it and it's symptoms:

According to WebMD the symptoms are:

  • High Fever (over 101)
  • Severe Headache
  • Joint and Muscle Aches
  • Sore Throat
  • Weakness
  • Stomach Pain

As Ebola starts to take over your body symptoms worsen:

  • Internal Bleeding
  • Bleeding from eyes, ears and nose
  •  Vomiting occurs
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Raised rashes

It's very similar to flu symptoms and usually shows up between 2 to 21 days after you have been infected.

How do you get Ebola?

The good thing about Ebola is that it's not as contagious as a common cold. It spreads by contact, meaning its not an airborne virus. And yes monkeys, mosquitoes can carry the virus and pass it along to humans. So in that respect it can go airborne.

This is just a quick reference to the symptoms of Ebola, in no way am I a Dr. or trying to be one. If you think you have the virus please see a Dr. immediately.
