Jimmy Fallon kicked off his final episode of 'Late Night' with a performance of 'On A Night Like This' with none other than Lafayette's own Buckwheat Zydeco.

Backed by the legendary Roots, they performed Buckwheat Zydeco's hit 'On A Night Like This' - fitting for Fallon's last night on 'Late Night' before he takes over for Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show.'

One of my personal favorite reasons to watch Fallon's show is because of his taste and appreciation for music, so to see a Lafayette native and musical legend like Buckwheat Zydeco just makes me want to watch his new show that much more.

As much as I hate to see Fallon depart, I'm also excited to see how former SNL star Seth Myers fills his shoes as the new host of 'Late Night.'

Stefon cameos, anyone?
