Justin Bieber's entourage reportedly bribed a Canadian border official with $10,000 worth of backstage passes in order to let some members of the crew with criminal records into the country, TMZ reports.

While it is not clear when the incident took place, the news is just now coming to light because the employee, who allegedly accepted the deal, has recently been fired.

According to the site, other members of Bieber's entourage recently went to the Canadian border expecting to receive the same treatment, only the border officials refused. And this time, the Canada Border Service agency allegedly reminded their employees to not accept bribes, and to 'fess up if they knew of a fellow employee who did. Yikes.

TMZ reports that Canada has a "strict policy" that does not allow people with certain kinds of criminal records into the country.
