Lafayette Authorities Working Grenade Investigation

KATC reports that officials in Lafayette Parish are working a possible grenade investigation.

Our media partners report that state police and fire officials with the Lafayette Fire Department are working a call of a possible grenade in the 200 block of Des Jardin Avenue.

There are multiple first responders on the scene. Authorities ask that you please avoid the area at this time.
