LSU head coach Les Miles elected not to visit the ESPN campus with fellow SEC coaches today because of the current situation in Baton Rouge.

Coach Miles noted that he wanted stay home with his players and he wanted to be there for some of the kids on his team that have parents in law enforcement.

He also said that he wanted to be there for Baton Rouge and be there for those who serve the community.

Baton Rouge is currently mourning the loss of three police officers after a Sunday shooting, which police say was an ambush on the servants.

What a kind gesture by Coach Miles. Perhaps this explains why so many of his players seem to always have a back.
