LSU Coach Les Miles Calls 15-Year-Old Fan Battling Cancer [VIDEO]

Say what you want about LSU Head Coach Les Miles, but this man is a great guy!! He recently called a 15-year-old LSU fan who is battling cancer, and Coach Miles had some exciting news for the young man. 

Coach Miles informed the young Tiger fan that he and his family will soon be visiting Tiger Stadium on game day, and what's more, they will be sitting in Les Miles' luxury suites at LSU Tiger Stadium. The young man also learned that he and his family will be in attendance at the LSU/Alabama game this year when the two meet in Tuscaloosa.

Sid Ortis, the young man, is battling bone cancer and has been a Tiger fan his whole life. Sid's parents do not know how Les Miles got their number, but they were shocked when the phone rang and it was Les Miles' secretary on the line.

Sid's parents say that the coach and their son talked football, talked about life and even said a prayer together. Coach Miles told Sid that, "Life is not how long you life, but how you live it."

What a special moment for this young man, and what a beautiful gesture by Les Miles. This is why I LOVE sports. Its all about putting smiles on the face of people who may be down and out.
