Plaquemines Parish Man Trapped In Attic Calls WWL-TV In New Orleans [VIDEO]

WWL-TV

We just played this interview on the radio—a man trapped in his attic in Plaquemines Parish called a New Orleans television station, WWL-TV, and described what brought he and his family into their attic. As we reported, water appears to have breached the levees in Plaquemines Parish due to the rising tide and storm surge. The man in the interview says that he and his family were forced to retreat to their attic because the water came up so fast. Reports out of the parish are that homes have in excess of 8-10 ft. of water in them. We can only hope and pray that this man and his family are rescued sooner than later.
