McDonald’s Unveils Its Highest-Calorie Item Ever—‘The Mega Potato’

If you love the fries from McDonald's you will love this announcement. In Japan, McDonald's just unveiled one of its highest-calorie items EVER . . . which is basically a BUCKET OF FRIES.  It's called the Mega Potato.

This order of fries is about twice the size of the standard large fries & it has 1,142 calories per serving and costs $5. As of now, there's no sign they'll ever come to the U.S., especially since McDonald's eliminated its Super Size fries here to present a more "healthy style" menu.

I think if this menu item makes it to the United States McDonald's, we may all be in trouble. One of my guilty pleasures are the fries from McDonald's and I would love to sneak one of these "buckets of fries" into the theater to enjoy a movie.
