Counterfeiters beware of the high-tech tweaks the new $100 bill brings to the table. Its been three years in the making, but Americans will finally get the new $100 bill in their local banks on October 8th, the Federal Reserve said on Wednesday.

The new $100 bill will have all kinds of new features that will make life difficult for counterfeiters, but in turn will help all retailers easily identify fakes.

The new features will include a blue, 3-D security ribbon embedded with images of bells that change to the number 100 when you tilt the note back and forth. If you tilt it side to side, those images move up and down. Its like having something from James Bonds collection in your pocket every day. SAAAWEET!

Other features will include  a Liberty Bell embedded in an inkwell on the face of the note. Both are copper colored until you tilt the note. Then, the bell will change from copper to green.

One thing that will not change is  Benjamin Franklin's face. It will still be staring out at you as you help the U.S. economy by handing him over to a cashier. But he won't be winking. Damn I cant believe we lost his wink. It was kind of creepy but he is an old man, and sometimes they get creepy.
