Nominees For Billboard Music Awards

Billboard has announced the nominees for its revived Billboard Music Awards. The awards will be given based on chart rankings, radio airplay, touring and social interactions. The first performers have already been announced,  Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Taio Cruz, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum. The show airs live May 22nd on ABC. Rihanna takes the lead as a finalist in 18 award categories. Eminem is a finalist in 16 award categories. Check out Billboard’s microsite for the 2011 awards.
