The student was given the "Catastrophe Award" by her teacher for having the most excuses throughout the school year for NOT having her homework completed. Christina Valdez said her daughter, Cassandra Garcia, came home one day from class at Desert Springs Academy in Tucson, Ariz., with the paper award.
