February 1, 2013 NBC33 is reporting that more than two dozen students from Sandy Hook Elementary School are heading to New Orleans this weekend to take part in some of the pregame festivities prior to Super Bowl XLVII.
As a way to help combat obesity, new federal guidelines were recently put in place stipulating that schools serve meals totaling no more than 850 calories. Since then, some students say the new low-cal lunches simply aren't enough. One group of students at Wallace County High in Kansas even created a protest song called 'We are Hungry' that parodies Fun.'s 'We are Young.'
The University of Louisiana School System has received permission to raise it's parking fees on the nine campuses throughout the state. The bad news for students at UL-Lafayette is that this campus falls under the University of Louisiana School System.

Call it a "modern day world problem," but we have all sat over our plate of dinner once waiting for ketchup to pour from a bottle. Often we resort to tapping the bottle several times until our ketchup slowly begins to pour, but that problem may soon be a thing of the past thanks to a few students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Yes, the students may have come up with a solution so that your ketchup pours out from the bottle as if it is in a liquid form.
