Monday night was the season premiere of 'The Voice' and Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green took a break from the show while Shakira and Usher took their place. Early on, the dynamic and chemistry between all of the judges (including Adam Levine and Blake Sheldon) didn’t match previous seasons. But it’s not about the judges, it’s about the talent.
December 17, 2012 MacKenzie Bourg, of Lafayette, may no longer be competing on NBC's "The Voice," but that will not stop him from returning to show tonight, Monday December 17th.
Last night LIVE on NBC's "The Voice," Lafayette's own Mackenzie Bourg hit the stage and performed the hit song by One Direction,"What Makes You Beautiful." In typical Mackenzie fashion, he put his own twist to the song, and the crowd seemed to love it!!!
Lafayette's own Mackenzie Bourg is now in the "Live Round" on NBC's "The Voice" and he needs your support. Mackenzie has advanced through several rounds to reach the "Live Round" and now it comes down to the popular vote. Mackenzie now needs his hometown and own his home state to get behind him with their votes starting tonight.
We apologize for the late recap of last night's episode of 'The Voice.' Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc over the New York area and power was cut - as a matter of fact, the show didn't air directly on NBC due to storm coverage. While we're currently up and running and looking forward to tonight's two-hour episode, we're just glad we're safe and sound and hope anyone in the path of the hurricane is and remains safe.
