‘Tante Sue From Mamou’ Announces That She Is NOT Retiring [VIDEO]

You may recall a few media outlets reporting that 'Tante Sue' from Fred's Lounge in Mamou was retiring. After 60 years behind the bar, she was calling it quits.

Yes, the icon in Big Mamou was hanging it up. Not so fast. Today I saw that the iconic bartender from Fred's is back and that she is NOT retiring.

In video posted onto Facebook, with the iconic Mamou water tower in the background, Tante said that she did not give up the keys.

Therefore, if you're going to visit Mamou this weekend or early next week for Mardi Gras, chances are you will see Tante Sue behind the bar at Fred's. She's baaaaaack!!!
