US Airways is apologizing for accidentally sending out an offensive tweet from their official Twitter account with an extremely graphic NSFW photo attached.

It is very common for airlines to reply to complaints and tweets from their customers, and that's exactly how a conversation with Twitter user @ElleRafter started.

Elle was then sent a tweet from US Airways on Monday (4/14) that welcomed her feedback and suggested she give a follow-up to her travel woes. This type of tweet is pretty routine PR for an airline, but attached to the tweet was a shocking NSFW photo.

What's even worse, is the tweet stayed up for about an hour (which translates to an eternity on the internet) and quickly spread like wildfire. If you really want to see the full pic (we don't suggest it) you can check it out via Buzzfeed here.

US Airways has acknowledged the tweet, apologized, and is currently investigating how it was sent out. (Translation: Someone is about to lose their job.)

I bet @ElleRafter will think next time she decides to complain about her flight experience on Twitter.
