A vehicle following too close to another vehicle on the interstate lost control and wrecked after the person in front him hit the brakes.

The person tailgating lost control of the vehicle and went into the median and crashed after the car in front of him hit the brakes.

Apparently the person in front of the car doing the tailgating thought that it would be a good idea to tap the brakes, in an effort to tell the person behind him to back off.

I ask, who do you think is in the wrong here? The person tailgating or the one who hit the brakes?

Sadly, I have seen this happen before, when someone taps their brakes to warn the person behind them that they're too close, and I always fear that this would happen.

I hope you or me never see this happen on I-10 or I-49. Too scary and too dangerous.
