Early Wednesday morning the Minnesota Vikings reversed their own decision to allow Adrian Peterson to participate with the team and prepare for their game this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

The Vikings announced early Wednesday morning that they have put their star running back on the league's exempt list until his child abuse case is resolved. Apparently the organization received a lot of heat from not just fans, but sponsors after they decided to allow him back on the team.

Peterson, who was arrested on child abuse charges last week, was not allowed to play in the Vikings games last week, but was going to be allowed this Sunday in New Orleans. Not any longer though.

Peterson has been charged with child abuse after his son returned home to his mother with marks on him. The star NFL player admitted he used a tree branch, a switch, to whip his son multiple times.

When Peterson was reinstated, I read that the Governor of Minnesota spoke out on the issue and even he stated that AP should not be allowed back on the team until this issue was resolved.
