WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper has died at the age of 61-years-old.

TMZ reports that Piper died at his home on Thursday night due to cardiac arrest. His body was found early Friday morning.

In 2006 the wrestling icon was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, but last year he announced that he defeated the cancer.

We extend our thoughts and prayers to Roddy Piper's family during this difficult time. He was truly an icon for many of us while growing up.
