The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is placing a curfew for Monday evening from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am in the unincorporated areas of the parish.

Water in some areas of the parish continue to rise as the Mermentau River has not yet reached its crest.

Water is being pushed back into the various communities. Vehicles riding through these area are forcing water back into homes causing more damage.

Please be respectful of those who are dealing with flooding in their homes. Staying out of these areas could make the difference between a residence flooding or not.
