Former New Orleans Saints cornerback Eli Apple is heading to Vegas to join the Raiders.

After the Saints claimed cornerback Janoris Jenkins (who has 1 year left on his deal at $11.25 million) off waivers late last season, and Apple on his way to free agency, his future with the team came into question.

Apple arrived in New Orleans via a trade in October of 2018, as the Saints sent the Giants a 4th round draft pick in exchange.

He became a starter opposite Marshon Lattimore, an upgrade over Ken Crawley.

As Apple battled an injury late last season, Jenkins slipped into his starting role.
