We’ve Been Lied To! Double Stuf Oreos Aren’t Actually Double Stuffed.
You know when you get into a fight with your boyfriend and all you want to do is sit on the couch and eat an entire row of Double Stuf Oreos? Yeah, well that's how I feel right now, but unfortunately the "boyfriend" I'm upset with is Double Stuf Oreos. They've lied to me and I don't know if my life will ever be the same. This may be unforgivable.
How am I just now finding out that my entire life has been a lie? I mean, if Double Stuf Oreos aren't actually double stuffed, then what are they?
Three years ago - yes, I know I'm a few years late on the story - high school math students in Queensbury, New York and their teacher, Dan Anderson, did a little math experiment and ended up blowing the top off of one of the biggest food secrets in history! Ok, maybe not the biggest in history, but I'd say that finding out that Double Stuf Oreos are not double stuffed is a pretty big deal.
So how stuffed are they? Well, according to the mathlete's Double Stuf Oreos are only stuffed with 1.86 times the filling. Seriously, I want to cry right now. My life is a farce.
I do have some good news for all my fellow Double Stuf Oreo fans, though. You can still get your cream filling fill with the Meg Stuf Oreos, which are jam packed with 2.86 times the filling of an original Oreo.
