There comes a time when you need to let your children make their own decisions.  At 3-years-old your parents still decide for you, but if your getting nutrients from mom, it MIGHT be time for a change.  My parents did some questionable things when I was a child, but nothing this wild.  Well it might not be that bad, but coming from a small town....I don't think I could handle this.

Dr. Blossom has noted that her methods in raising her children tend to be a little bit different from the rest of society.  Most people raise their children a certain way, but if you want to go out into the blue abyss you can pick up Dr. Blossom's tips in her book: "The Sling: A Real-Life Guide To Raising Confident, Loving Children The Attachment Parenting Way."

After reading on dlisted, we find out that her children do not use diapers, so I imagine there is 'pee pee' everywhere, and they can stay on the nipple as long as they choose!  I was raised on the bottle so I guess I can't judge, but isn't 3-years-old a bit out of range for this situation?

They were breast-fed until ready to quit — Bialik still nurses Fred sporadically, as he slowly weans himself."  Via dlisted

These methods might be a little bit much for me, but then again some may think it's fine.  Sometimes you have to wonder what qualifies as 'weird?'  The last weird thing that I can remember I did as a child was sucking on my toes....yes I was a bit flexible.  Looking back what are some 'questionable' things your parents did when you were younger?
