As the world processes and responds to the devastating news of the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando on Saturday night (June 11), now considered the deadliest mass shooting in American history, artists around the world continue to dedicate performances to those lost during the act of extreme hatred.

Last night (June 12), during their headlining performance in the final night of the Isle of Wight Festival at Seaclose Park in the UK, Adam Lambert and Queen showed their support for the victims of the Orlando shooting with a tribute performance of "Who Wants To Live Forever?", originally released on Queen's 1986's record, A Kind of Magic.

"This song is dedicated to those that lost their life last night in Orlando, Florida, and anybody that has been victim of senseless violence or hatred," Lambert began before launching into the emotionally charged track.

Following the performance, Lambert spoke out on Twitter, urging his followers to donate to the GoFundMe for Orlando victims.

"The horrible tragedy in Orlando is BOTH a terrorism AND gun control issue. It is also a horrendous hate crime. It sicks me to see commentary in my own feed of people over how to classify or politicize it," Lambert wrote in an extended note on Twitter early this morning (June 13).

"This is not a democratic or republican issue. This is not just an LGBTQ issue. This is a HUMAN issue. 50 lives were lost. Let's make sure we pay our proper respects first and foremost. Please do what you can to help the families of the victims. We need to mourn and to process."
