For weeks now I have been watching a mole destroy the lawn at the radio station. Well, on Tuesday I saw where it was digging and I was able to extract it from the ground.

Last week I decided to use a strategy at the station I have used before at home when it comes to  locating moles. Knowing where their tunnels are, I flatten all of them so that I can easily locate their newest tunnels. It also allows for me to zoom-in on their location.

Having done that, on Tuesday I noticed some new tunnels, raised above ground, so I knew the little nuisance had to be within that general area. As faith would have it, I saw the ground moving early Tuesday morning, where the new tunnels were, and I was able to locate this mole.

With a shovel in hand, I dug near the latest movement and there it was. And for the record, this was one of the largest moles I have ever seen.

We removed the mole from the ground and relocated it to a field near the station. The mole was NOT injured in the relocation process, and I am sure it is already "grubbing" in the lot adjacent to our studios.

Sure, these little pests can do some damage to your hard, but if you are patient enough, you too should have no trouble finding and relocating these little fellas.
