LOS ANGELES (AP) — Billionaires, entertainers and athletes alike have announced their interest in possibly buying the Los Angeles Clippers NBA team from owner Donald Sterling, who's been banned from the NBA for life for making racist comments.

If Sterling is forced to sell, music mogul Sean Combs wants in.

And Oprah Winfrey also is contemplating a bid. She's been in discussions with billionaire entertainment executive David Geffen and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison to make a bid.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. also says he wants the team.
