Section Of LA 182 Washed Away By Flood

We continue to see the effects of the recent flood and now a roadway in Acadiana has been washed away by the flood water.

KATC reports that a section of LA 182 in Lafayette Parish is closed after flood water washed away some of the highway's pavement about a mile southeast of the Billeaud Overpass in Broussard.

Louisiana State Police are asking everyone to stay off the roads today and if you see anything they need to know about to please call 911. 

Police are also asking everyone to obey the barricades and to NOT go around them. Standing water can be deeper than it appears, thus avoid driving through it.
