FDA Warns Louisiana Dog Owners About Recalled Treat

Most dog owners treat their fur babies like family and do everything they can to keep them healthy and safe. As pet owners, we would hate to cause harm to our animals unknowingly, especially when it can be easily avoided.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration wants dog owners to be made aware of a treat recall that could be harmful to their pets. These particular treats are being recalled because they may contain metal in some form.

What Dog Treats Are Being Recalled In Louisiana?

The recalled dog treats were distributed between February through May 2024. They were sold in Louisiana and nationwide, in-store and online.

• Green Tripe, Barkworthies Brand 7oz Bag
• Green Tripe, Best Bully Sticks Brand 2lb Bag
• Green Tripe, Best Bully Sticks Brand 5lb Bag

The FDA asks that if you purchase any of these products, you immediately stop feeding them to your pets and throw the treats away.
