Louisiana Rapper Boosie BadAzz Asks Trump To Pardon Him In Federal Gun Case
Baton Rouge, Louisiana Rapper Torence "Boosie" Hatch is not wasting any time now that Donald Trump has been elected president.
Not even 24 hours later, at noon on Wednesday, November 6th, 'Lil Boosie' tweeted President-elect Trump asking him for a favor regarding his federal gun case, saying:
"CAN U PARDON ME ON MY FED CASE ? i’m a NON VIOLENT FELON. THE COURTS RULED THAT a NON VIOLENT CANNOT BE CHARGED WITH A 922g .THE JUDGE DISMISSED MY CASE BUT THE RULING HAS BEEN APPEALED!!SO ONCE AGAIN I WAS INDICTED IM FIGHTING THIS CASE!! THIS IS THE EXACT CASE to US VS DUARTE THAT WAS RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!"
This request is in reference to an incident that took place in May of 2023 where Boosie was indicted for two counts of firearm possession — one involving interstate commerce as a convicted felon and one for knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing with abuse of a controlled substance according to Fox 5.
Two weeks prior, federal prosecutors in the Southern District of California dropped his felon in possession of a firearm' charge on July 12th after the decision of U.S. v. Durate, which ruled that the Second Amendment also applies to felons.
Lil Boosie also mentioned in his Tweet that he would like to discuss giving police immunity saying "oh one more thing can u sit down with me n talk about U GIVING POLICE immunity. I THINK THIS WILL MOTIVATE OFFICERS TO COMMIT DEADLY CRIMES. “ PLEASE DONT DO THIS “ anyway congratulations on your win LETS GET THIS MONEY N DROP THESE TAXES “ shit killing me."
Will Louisiana rapper Bossie BadAzz's request be fulfilled by Donald Trump? I guess we will just have to wait and see.
