New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is attending the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis as he prepares for the draft that is less than two months away. The only thing is, he seems to be having some serious binocular problems. In his defense, after being suspended for a year while the Saints went 7-9, there is a lot of work to do, and his binocular skills might be a bit rusty.

If all of the reports are accurate, Christmas may have come just a few days late for Saints fans. Reports out this evening indicate that the New Orleans Saints organization and Sean Payton have reached an agreement in their on-going contract negotiations.

Even though the Saints aren't playing until tomorrow night on Monday Night Football, Saints fans woke up to some pretty discouraging headlines. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, within the past year, the multiyear contract extension that would have kept Sean Payton in New Orleans until 2015, was voided by the NFL, making the suspended head coach a free agent after this season.
